April
April came to us with battle scars that we are working on healing. She is 100% lover and full of purrs and makin' muffins! She is having her first vet appt on 3/7 and we will update from there.
*Update-
She had a scare thinking sshe was pregnant but she is not and will be getting spayed on 4/25. She will be ready to take home after that, she will make any home happy and full of laughter as she is quite the little comedian!

Andy & Opie
These brothers have been together their whole lives and are being spoiled, loved and fostered by the amazing Ecker's Flowers & Greenhouses family. They are just turning one year old. They are neutered and had their initial shots and were de-wormed. Opie is shy. Andy is the most playful and affectionate. They play a lot together. They currently live in a spacious "kitty" hotel during the day and a smaller area overnight.

Jane D
Janey girl was surrender with a very severe case of malnutrition and infection in her eyes. She is believed to be around 6-7 months old and only weighed 2 pounds when we took her to the vet. She was skin and bones, it was so sad.
Today, Janey is doing much better! Her eye is healed up, she eats all the time and has a cute little tummy now. She is still small and I believe she will stay small. She is the sweetest little thing you will ever meet! She loves tummy rubs, being held and snuggled, and cuddling with Mama Rose who has taken her in as her own kitten in addition to her own 3. They make the most adorable family. Please keep this in mind as they will possibly have to go as a pair as the 3 kittens leave the nest.
Jane is not ready for adoption yet, but we are working on it! We will keep you posted, but if you are interested for when she is, please click on the link below and fill out an application for her! :)

Mama Rose
Rose was an indoor and outdoor kitty and is currently pregnant, but not for much longer. She is the most lovable kitty I think I have ever met once she warms up to you, which doesn't take long. Rose is 2 1/2 years old. She has been to the vet and is healthy and happy! Her and her babies could potentially be looking for a foster home if you are interested! **Update
Mama Rose had her kittens on April 4th, 2024. Unfortuantely, the first and last were stillborn and a third, Jesse, passed away only a few short days into its life. She has since adopted 2 other kittens in need, Franny and Sky. They are only a day older than Walter, her last remaining baby that is doing very well after a scary night with me having to take over.. but he/she pulled through! Mama has also adopted little Jane D. It is the cutest thing, they are all 5 in their little cat cave together all the time and Mama and Janey are either snuggling or cleaning the babes. Those kittens may only drink from one mom, but they definitely have two. Please keep this in mind as they are ready to be adopted as they may have to stay together. I do believe their bond may be too strong but only after the kittens are adopted will we know for sure.
She will be up for adoption once her litter is grown and adopted out and we have her spayed. We will update here.

Mama Omega
Beautiful Mama Omega and her three little 5 day old babies - Luna, Star and Nova - were surrendered on my birthday, April 15th, so they are extra special! Omega is a 3rd generation garage kitty and the "owners" couldn't bring anymore inside. ou may notice a 4th kitten in there, that is Franny. Mama Rose wasn't producing enough milk for her 3 (and possibly Jane D) so sweet Mama Omega took her right in! (Now Mama Rose is doing great!)
Omega, Luna, Star and Nova (and Franny!) are very healthy (chubby little things!) and happy and we are thrilled to welcome them to the Lucky Penny Kitties family!
Update 4/22 - Mama O has adopted another kitten in need that was only 5 days old. She is a beautiful little calico that we have named Celeste. She was saved by the sweetest family when her mother abandoned her. With the additional kitten upstairs now, we decided to let Franny make the choice if he/she wanted to stay with Mama O or go back with Mama R and his brother and he/she chose to go back to Mama R and has been doing great!
